New Shoes

I decided to get some new tyres for the Raleigh Tourist, partly for aesthetic reasons (inspired by Velouria’s DL-1) and partly because the old tyres didn’t make a massive amount of contact with the road and were only rated to 50 PSI, which meant the rolling resistance was quite high.

Before, with the old tyres.

After, with the new Delta Flyer tyres in cream, from Practical Cycles.

  1. love the new tires! Great look :) isn't it amazing how a good looking bike will always be a good looking bike? lol!

I am back to rainy manchester, but couldn't be happier :) missed my bike terribly! Saw some brilliant cycle friendly Italian cities which was rather nice!

Hope to make the October critical mass, sounds like it'll be fun!
